Executive Communications · Corporate Reputation · Media Relations · Thought Leadership

I build the story around the business.

I have led communications in environments where the message has to work for more than one audience at once: executives, employees, customers, media, partners, regulators and the market. My work spans executive voice, corporate narrative, public relations, product storytelling, stakeholder communications, community reputation and high-visibility brand partnerships.

Communications with business accountability.

I do not treat communications as a separate layer from the business. The strongest work starts with the business objective, identifies the audiences and risks, builds the narrative, aligns leadership, and then measures whether the message actually moved perception, engagement or action.

What I have personally owned

My communications scope has crossed the full range from executive-level narrative through day-to-day execution.

Executive Communications

Executive positioning, ghostwritten LinkedIn content, speeches, keynote messaging, quotes, interview preparation, internal messages and leadership narratives.

Corporate Reputation

Corporate narrative, announcements, sensitive messaging, brand-response playbooks, community reputation, market expansion and stakeholder alignment.

Media & Thought Leadership

Media relations, earned coverage, interviews, contributed thought leadership, product education, press releases and executive visibility.

Stakeholder Communications

Partners, customers, agencies, sports organizations, venues, industry groups, regulated-market stakeholders and cross-functional internal teams.

Executive voice was part of the job, not an add-on.

I helped shape the public voice of senior leaders through ghostwritten LinkedIn posts, executive quotes, announcements, interview narratives and thought-leadership content designed to sound like the executive rather than a corporate marketing department.

Executive Narrative · Leadership & Corporate Voice

Made leadership changes and corporate priorities understandable externally.

Corporate announcements required more than a title change and boilerplate. I worked across leadership, operating priorities, product strategy and business context to create narratives that explained why a change mattered and what it meant for customers and the market.

  • Leadership and organizational announcements.
  • Strategic reorganization messaging.
  • Executive quotes and market-facing statements.
  • Message alignment across corporate, product, PR and social channels.

Corporate reputation is built across touchpoints.

In a multi-market consumer finance environment, communications was inseparable from local presence and trust. The work included sports and venue partnerships, community investment, expansion messaging, media coordination, customer-facing brand communications and executive alignment across a highly regulated and reputation-sensitive category.

Partnerships & Visibility

Major sports and venue relationships

Built and managed relationships spanning NHL, NFL, NCAA and MLB organizations, affiliates, arenas and stadiums. These partnerships required negotiation, activation, brand governance, executive coordination, media planning and community relevance.

$2M+High-visibility partnership and sponsorship agreements negotiated and managed.
Expansion & Stakeholders

National growth needed a local story.

Expansion into new markets required more than acquisition media. Corporate messaging had to establish credibility, explain the product, support local visibility and maintain consistency across stores, digital channels, partners, media and community stakeholders.

Selected document & writing work

How I approach communications

Good communications leadership is judgment before output.

01Understand the business decision

Start with what is actually changing, what the organization needs to accomplish and what cannot be misunderstood.

02Map the stakeholders

Executives, employees, customers, media, partners and regulators do not need identical messages, but they do need a coherent story.

03Build the narrative

Define the core truth, proof points, tone, executive voice, likely questions and areas of reputational or regulatory risk.

04Execute and measure

Carry the narrative through PR, executive channels, internal communications, digital, partnerships and market-facing materials, then measure response.

Communications should help leadership move the business forward.

I am most useful when communications has a seat at the table early enough to shape the story, not simply distribute it afterward.
